Meanwhile once your details are uploaded in wipro SAP portal, you 'll be clearly said how to retive your username, password,how to check mails,how to put attendance, ec etc,how to apply for bus pass,how to apply for reimbrusment. etc. etc.

You 'll be asked to enter your bank account details in which your salary s gonna be credited.

Easy procedures. but do in time, so that you recieve the salary in time

TRP..

Here begins.. The three month decider.. Tes, The TECHNICAL READINESS PROGRAM. We people who were put into testing were further divided into two batches and were given our training schedules.

You'll have to roam around bangalore. so better apply for bus pass in corporation buses[BMTC]

The first week of training for us is in SAN IT solutions,jayanagar.

Belive me ppl.. all trainers are stuffed.. but the problem is you 'l have to learn lots of syllabi in a very short time. RAPID CRASH COURSE!!!! You belive or not Software Engineering Practice[Hope IT STREAM STUDENTS "LL KNOW HOW WRECKED THIS PAPER IS] was completed i two days.

Don't get panic.. the trainers are really stuffed that they make u listen ;) and definitely you'll clearly understand everything..

Onlt thing you have to do is study at home dialy!!!! You must do this.. else it's damn difficult to recollect...

Business Unit induction

A half day session. People from wipro 'll tell you all abut the domain you are put in to.. they 'll even brief on the nature of ur work n the clients who provide projects to ur business units

Spirit of wipro.

Once again rajesh... Wat a man he is??? makes us laugh n at the same time makes us thinks with every word he speaks. Some times you would wonder why he is deviating from the topic.. but when he concludes, you'll realize that you were wrong. Spirit of wipro is nothing but the blah blahs about the values of wipro.. If its kinda preson like rajesh who's givin u this session it'll be damn interestin.. otherwise it 'll be boring one.

ERT-Emergency Response Training

Its a one day session which 'll be held by the wipro security team, and a medical team to create awareness on diasters n first aid techniques..

Belive me!!! It's a useful session, but most of you'll sleep.. ;)

CRP contd..

The next two days of CRP session was held by a guy namde siddarth,an external trainer. Again a lovly guy.. Exactly cotinued the good work done by rajesh.. Few exiting group activities were held. full of fun. enjoy to the core. as if these are the last two days u'll be free in the company. same time grasp the ettiques they train u so that u can be a successful individual in corporate world..

Just enjoy guys.... Lucky I got my trainin in bangalore. realy lots of fun here.. Elec city Wipro campus is really colorful.. Just stay cool.. and enjoy t core...

CRP-First Day....

"CRP - I thought it would be like the usual boring sessions that we have in colleges for self motivation,personality blah.. blah.. blah..

Man!!! Belive me.. It was one of the finest day I would have imagined.. It all started usually by 8.45 am but at the end we felt it wasn't a usual day.. It was a day which almost stays in your heart thru out...

Ya.. It was all because of the one man.. Dr.Rajesh Venkadri, a profilistic man, man who designed the Corporate readiness program the integral part of Wipro's training..

God!! Only a few presenters have kept me awake for the whole presentaion. Infact I should not call him a presenter.. He is a good mentor.. He just speaks and pokes out fun all time.. But still those are informative..In simple words he rejuvinates us.. That's it..

Okay.. lemme get you into surprise with some highlights from his profile..

"can can".. "all izz well".. "kewl baby".. add to this famous dialogues "enjoy khanna"[he often use it]

1)He had worked with ICC,Asian cricket assosiation as analyst.

2)Made an under performing county team in malaysia to win its first gold medal in malasyian fist class cricket.

3)Impressive educational qualification.

4)Presently, working as consultant for NCA and the Karnataka and Tamil Nadu Ranji teams on their High performance management.

And about the structure of the today's program. Nthn man. He just interacted with us and made us understand what's college life and corporate life all about. He makes you understand how you get transformed from a technical mad to technocrats.. Thats' it..

Again saying.. You ppl are really lucky if you get bangalore and foremost if you get Dr. Rajesh addressing you.

first day....

Friends.. joined officially today.. yes 15th mar 2010.. I was asked to report at Electronic city.. It was another day in which the talent transformation(training) team gave blah blah presentation..

in short the program continued such..

1) A welcome session by P.B.Kotur

2) A presentation on wipro overview and its values by Sebi Kumar

3) Even a presentation was there on bus transportation team..

4) We were given details about Mywipro.com an internal portal of wipro employees in which you can get all details regarding official Email-id,transportaion,leave and every other details.

5) A presentation on wipro library

Lunch 12.45 to 1.30...

Atlast by evening a shock sitter made.. Ya I was put in testing domain... Infact every fellow joinees got service domains

But not get panic.. evrey domain is same in wipro.. Only matter is how is your performance in wipro...

Joining.....

Guys had joinin formalities today.... was asked to report in koramangala.. from there we were taken in a bus to sirjapur campus.. nice campus man!.. we were given dummy I.D cards at the entrance.. We were made to sit in a hall.. n all the formalities was held there.. quite simple work.. The hr ppl there really assist u as if u are a layman.. and the bank ppl too.. was really a good session of interaction.. we were provided breakfast(sandwich), lunch(a south indian food) n wid tea,coffee n biscuits.. everything was good...

key points that u would miss out regardin SBI formalities. .

Those availing loan see to this:

1)keep all the s.b.i forms undated (i.e) don't put date anywhere in any of the forms.. mainly in form -4[form in which u paste revenue stamp]

2)keep the proof of Ur guarantor pukka.. his salary certificate/IT statements etc etc . make sure that things are attested, and his designation and department he is working in(in case he is a govt employee).

This were few problems that ppl placed today :(.. they were asked to reproduce the documents in a 15 days time..

3) in account openin form take care that local branch(whichever branch u visit) is not written in the first page.. all others things the bank ppl 'll guide n assist u..

4)make sure u have two set of ur address proof(passport),identity proof(pan) attested.. one for account openin form,, othr for wipro bond execution..

5)for full amount payees no problem at all.. just two minutes work.. u can get it done

they wil immediately giv u a kit which consists of 1)ATM card n its pin 2)internet bankin password 3)multi city cheque book

REGARDING TRAINING:

Usual frp,trp blah blahs.. things i found new are.

1)frp is given a weight age of 20%

2)trp - 50%

3)rll - 30%

u should have ur overall weight age of 70% for successful training completion..

consider u don't clear frp scorin 66% n u clear trp with high marks.. then no problem at all cos as per weight age u have it above 70% overall...

AS A WHOLE WHAT I OBSERVED IS THERE IS NOTHING TO GET PANIC.. JUST ENJOY THE TRANING..

All abt medical check up..

Don't get panic at all guys.. just a work of an hour.

i hav done my ck up in heritage labs,t.nagar(approx two minutes walk from vani mahal)...

carry downloaded print outs with u...safer side carry offer letter and id proof( bt thy are not asking that)...

in first floor they will ask you to fill the print outs,, they 'll give u a model prefilled in forms. don't forget to take photograph of urs.

know ur wipro reference number befr going...

blood,urine,ecg,heart x ray, eye tests 'll be done...

eye test 'll be simple...

no need to go with bare stomach.....

after all this u'll consult doctor formally.

Everything is over.. don't forget to collect your acknowledgement slip.. no blood group 'll be mentioned in it.. don't worry for that...

P.S: don go between 12 to 2.....

timings are 7.30 to 12....2-6 t seems.....

Don't forget this....

people.. you would be busy with shopping.. meanwhile don't forget u have a important work.. yes you have to make your certificates ready.

all those certi's needed 'll be mentioned in the mail with subject "REPORTING MAIL" from wipro. make sure that you carry xerox in excess than that mentioned in that mail.

make sure that you are keeping some attested copies of all the certificates in home.. because you carry the originals with you in a travel.

[p.s:will update exactly what certificates are needed and the number of xerox copies on 11-3-2010..[my date of reporting]]

SBI-A DAYS' WORK

Got the SBI kit mail on 1-3-2010. Went to bank on 2-3-2010. Friends said the incharge in bank did not know anything in this and ppl had to argue with them to make the bank officers clear about this SBI kit.. THANK GOD.. I had my uncle working in SBI.. So he helped me in all formalities.

I'll update about the formalities for those who are taking loan from SBI later.

Now follows the procedure for those who choose to pay the whole guarantee amt..

1) have 3 copies of your photographs with you.[1-for wipro related forms,2-to be affixed in acc. opening form,3-to be attached as a enclosure for the purpose of passbook]

2)Have xerox copies of passport/driving license/pan card/voter's id. it is most better to have your passport. take with you the originals also

3)you 'll have to fill up the form 1,form 3 and the all the details in the account opening slip. see t that you sing in four places totally

4) even in these forms u'll be having few columns related to loan leave them blank or fill those columns "nil".

6)better have a bank employee and don't hesitate to ask even the small doubts you get.

7) The bank manager has to sign in form-1[wipro related],in account opening form[3 places in that form],has to attest all the photo copies. make sure that where ever he signs he writes his ss.no[officers code from SBI].

8)In the account opening form you'll need to witnesses to sign. so it is better to take with you a person who has account in that particular branch to which you visit.

8)Take a draft for rs.75,470

9)In form 1 right the D.D number,amount and D.D issued date.

10)verify all the documents once again. and give them to the bank staff who is helping you, he will put them in a cover,paste it,and put the bank's seal in that and give it back to you[p.s in some branches you need to take and go cover and in some branches they will use the state bank cover itself to seal the documents]

11)finally thank the officials and go back home keep that sealed cover safe.
